Well you know when I win it with a tornado that close a lot of people would be thinking I'm gonna just go down in the storm cellar for the shelter but he grabbed the camera why.
It's one of those things where if you live in Oklahoma.
Tornadoes or something and everybody talks about is it affects your life.
You're watching for the moment is all the time and so it's promising this kind of -- -- -- take a look at it not to mention -- really interested on if you're really in danger or not.
And so I I had a good chance to have a good look and kind of see that happen and fortunately the path became very clear that it was headed from my house.
No kidding of course we know what happened to your house but at this point in the video where -- there's a funnel cloud approaching.
You weren't scared.
I wasn't scared because I was extremely prepared.
Oklahomans really good about.
-- -- tornado preparedness they teach it in school my wife was prepared with are seller.
Everything was in order I was home luckily in the middle of the work day so we -- It was a best case scenario for.
What actually happened.
-- what happened was your house was completely destroyed.
But when you open when you're in the storm cellar what did you hear.
Well he always hear that -- sound like a train coming -- and it definitely became an all encompassing sound bit.
Our ears were popping so much in the pressure was.
It's really hard to identify what the sound was so I can tell you that one out left it was a it became extremely calm and extremely quiet very very quickly.
And we knew the so you heard that and it sound like a locomotive.
But you didn't expect to see what you saw when you open the door did you.
Now I -- didn't I expected it to be bad and I expect our house to be damaged but.
-- whenever it -- I saw the tornado approaching the house -- just didn't seem that big.
But it obviously.
Right before I got my house because the damage -- is -- extremely alive.
I know it's early but do you have a plan -- you gonna rebuild.
That's a good question that's one of the first things that you think about when you come out is logistically what do I do it no vehicles on the house.
So -- got 68 months.
-- and a new life coming so we're not real sure to rebuild their -- -- or do something else.
I knew for sure that the new -- if you do build one's gonna have a storm cellar and it just like the last one.
-- my wife my wife will require it and so alive.
