This just did and what I'm about to say shouldn't really be an alert of all but apparently it is to some who don't have a clue.
Welcome everybody I'm Neil Cavuto and forgive me for breaking format today and bear with me for going -- -- actually very long -- But I've got something to get off my test today right now right away because -- had enough more than enough.
Maybe going to be approaching Memorial Day weekend I want to address something that has been bothering -- week.
This repeated failure on our government's part to -- uttered these four words.
On terror I'm gonna say it again global war on terror.
But we're not saying global war on terror we're not even thinking global war on terror even in the face of global acts of terror known and -- They terrorize everywhere we refused to connect the dots here.
-- Why is this a difficult why is simply stating the obvious not so -- that's why can't the president say the words but not connect.
The words words like terrorist and make no mistake our nation is still threatened by terrorists.
Or -- regret.
War -- organization that right now would kill as many Americans as they could if we did not stop them first.
Nevertheless this ideology -- In an age where -- ideas and images can travel the globe in an instant.
Quite so so we could say the words.
But we can't and won't connect the words you backed the president made very clear this week he -- connected to words won't connect the words let's.
We must define our effort not as they -- global war on terror.
Not as a global war on terror back to the good old days when we apparently didn't use such harsh term.
This is the future of terrorism it.
We have to take these threats seriously and do all -- we can to confront them but as we shape our response.
We have to recognize that the scale of this threat closely resembles the types of attacks we faced before -- up.
The types of attacks we faced before.
-- the fact that -- -- it was a nine elevenths and the -- never forget that go back to the bottom of the good old days before them.
I can't believe that that would be like going back and asking Mary Todd Lincoln -- her husband was shot outside of that -- was the show.
Or -- offending Germans after world -- to buy it just not mentioning that whole holocaust thing that happened years before Germans were offended by that.
Not to what -- The Holocaust happen.
9/11 happened horror happened all offense so exactly who are we afraid of -- this guy.
What he's -- I -- I -- if you put -- wild won't be part of I don't want a little while we'll get those look like you.
-- -- -- Blood on its hands.
Scary but no less scary than the Muslim cleric Omar -- Mohammed said of his actions.
But what -- what he did it was a message to the beach establishment.
That is you for the policies coupled with two -- Post fight against Islam and Muslims and that hasn't stopped -- -- for four us soldiers armed forces in Afghanistan and get -- No longer acceptable to.
Part that's not a radical Muslim cleric in Lebanon.
Talking about the actions although Muslim extremists.
In -- Only weeks after a Muslim connection in Boston.
Months after lots of angry Muslims in Ben -- All over the globe.
But not global all late by the single is -- ridiculous but not a war.
All terrorist but not terror what part get a freaking clue don't we seem to understand here.
Nadal -- -- jobs -- got to -- our god is great before firing off more than 200 rounds -- killing thirteen people.
And wounding 32 at an army base in Texas.
And we call it a work place shooting and pay him more than 280 -- accrued salary.
While the families of his victims all military victims are military victims have yet to get a sense.
Makes no sense just like it makes no sense that we would sooner -- to protect a Boston terrorist legal rights on the tax the mind of his victims' families.
You can't make this stuff up.
-- they're not I'm not asking for vigilante justice I am asking for simple justice and for recognizing simple facts.
If you don't want to -- to the global war on Muslim extremists that's one thing.
But to extend this political correctness -- not even uttering the very corrected accurate words global war on terror.
That's another thing and that's a terrifying thing and that terrifies me.
But it follows a familiar and disturbing pattern my friends -- whole federal agencies are revising their talking points on what was clearly a terror -- but got three.
To -- the very word terror in any reference -- -- -- And then did -- -- Justice Department's forces are -- lose some reporters.
Who dare investigate attacks since.
Those are the actions that have consequences and the -- are the deeds that make a mockery of mere words.
Because the danger of not offending folks who was a -- is that you will never wake up to the reality -- always was instead.
Because you may not call -- the war Mr.
But they're still fighting one.
-- -- -- Still global.
So I don't know what you're afraid of offending or cool you're afraid of offending I do know.
I find your refusal to called on a global war on cover for what it is.
