Our nation's bravest all day at the -- cup in Tulsa Oklahoma and we've got a group of special guests who wouldn't rather.

And good friend of our show major Dan Rooney nice to see all of you guys again this morning good morning.

You guys wouldn't you rather be anywhere else right now -- out there guys Tom Korean David.
And we'll talk to major Dan in just a second -- to get him warmed up for this patriots can't tell us about this big event today.

But he you know it -- took me up and is that sixteen I think in August 2007.

-- support his program up folds of honor which educates the children of you know fallen and wounded.
And I just saying to him that it it seems like yesterday and I've no idea that it would turn into.

Uneducated so they can keep him controlled.
One of the great things about America is that.
You know our politicians know.
That we know they are and what they're -- you know the countries that hate us.
Their governments are on -- -- and here -- it's nice to thing -- of our government as a kind of swells at.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- This must be very special special day for you as well.
It is it's like being -- of your heroes are our movie stars or athletes or whatever.
It it's like getting to spend the day.
With with your ultimate heroes that these are mine.

And of course done has been there on business.
You -- to get to see what they do the restraint that they show on a daily basis that the public never gets to hear about the compassion that they have for those.
You know they represent the teamwork that they have -- doesn't exist in this the civilian world that to be a civilian and get to be around them you know biggest thrill I can imagine.
Corey -- -- -- in the Ryder Cup for teen USA what does today mean there at the patriots cup.
Well I it means a lot.
You know wolf there are three of us -- and David and myself we've been over to tie -- and after Afghanistan visiting the troops and -- -- worked over there.
But you know it it was great to see that the troops over there.
It in battle and working.
And protecting our freedoms over here and for me this is what it means -- way to say thank you so as to the military in to help out.
In a big way but it's so still small portion of what needs -- be done for the military and helping the families.
So so this is what today means for me and and obviously the health.
Dan in the folds of honor to raise money and help help kids or help spouses wherever it is that that needs help from people that have given.
Their lives or been wounded out there so that we can sit here and talk to right now and enjoyed the United States and be able to walk around -- and be free.
And Tom you -- to play on major terms of course all the time next.
-- finest golfers in the world today get to get played with some real heroes what is the -- cup mean to you today.
Well you're right -- these these guys are heroes and they and their families or her road as well it is the sport that they have a moment.
And it seems to think about is that the soldiers -- were there and who have sacrificed.
But the families that are that are behind it worked.
Left behind many times.
You know they're heroes as well you know so I think it has to be here that makes me feel -- -- a lot of pride for being an American.
Huge amount of pride -- what we stand for -- a country.
That we we love our country we love our fellow man we love our god we.
Try to live by that they have the code that we think is so important based upon -- -- and friendship and family and and in more than anything to support those who have given so much so.
To me is America does very very proud to be here to support this great vision that then it started through the pools of water.
-- -- I mean who would have thought it was.
Fourth year now we're doing this and this is really incredible come a long way what does it mean to you to see this -- grow as big as it is and all the support to to getting from the likes of Tom.
David and -- others.
Yeah I MA it's humbling look we've -- we got.
Major champions that -- in the lowly -- and then I don't know what would -- idiots.
I don't know trying to carry that out I think look at -- guys like Ricky Fowler and Zach Johnson but this is a day that is about giving back to the men and women we defend this country and it is as Tom so eloquently said it's about god and country.
And it's without apology and -- and we are standing up.
Together for what we believe in as Americans that's what makes this country great we all have different opinions but I can tell you the -- of -- sitting here.
Our opinion is is adamant.
That about the men and women who serve this country and about the meaning of Memorial Day because without those who have given their lives.
None of us are free -- it truly is not free.
And it's just a wonderful day and you know obviously like to thank Budweiser donning a million and a half dollars this year -- folds of honor to provide back to scholarships and sponsoring this event make -- at all possible but.
Truly humbled by the military that are here -- and my great friends sitting here with me.
You know there are those that aren't we're proud of them -- important that they know that.
