I actually really really do wanna be in the army -- my career in my life took me a different direction.
-- but this was a way to use my skills and you know to help support my country in -- way that I knew how which is just tell the story of America's army to America.
And there's no better way to tell that story an incident led American soldiers tell us a reality show that hasn't been done yet it's called starting strong yet he went to a variety of different bases across the nation yes and what you did -- you found out that each person who wants to be in the army.
Has actually become an expert at a particular kind of job right that's right and the concept for -- strong as a.
About jobs in the opportunities it provides -- young Americans -- and you know in addition every soldier being a soldier I didn't know this but each soldier also has a job.
And they can be veterinarians they can do for me firemen they can be -- special dictated Baylor they can be engineers -- doctors lawyers.
And so this show is about bringing you civilian into the army and give them a week experience what it's like to do specific -- And at the end of that week this is a real person has to make a real decision whether -- not to enlist in the US army how many decide to do it and -- -- -- Little more about 50% -- -- and could send and -- why would they decide it would that they think that job was to -- cult or that just didn't interest them.
You know the people -- thought would join sometimes didn't want you thought wouldn't join did.
And it came down a lot times the family support and how the people around that young American.
Either support -- that choice or not there.
This'll be your first season have you thought about maybe a follow up after that following them once -- do when lists and their journey through the army.
Absolutely I'm in -- you know it's it's a great idea I hope we get a chance to do it.
Depending on the success here of the first ten episode to sort out June 2 on fox will they'll make that decision.

Having known you for a little while your your patriot at heart so must feel good to see these every day Americans.
You know essentially volunteering to do something very patriotic and then is to serve their nation.
You know I I I was around thousands of soldiers of the course of working on -- strong with the army and I think I heard.
Maybe three soldiers who who who had some some little minor complaint.
Everybody there had volunteered everybody was inspiring everybody had been head and multiple deployments everybody was proud -- to do their job every day.
And I've never you know never really been around organization like that before and and so I'm so honored to have worked with them and to me and trusted to tell their story.
You said that one particular story stands out your mind where there were 800 volunteers.
Getting into a part of the army where they knew there are going to be deployed to -- street well there's company.
Force in Houston where they every combat medic is trying to force in Houston and there was 800 young combat medics on them and -- field and every one of them had chosen an -- knowing that they would be deployed to war zone.
And when I looked at them -- hope and faith in America was -- because there was 800 young people.
Who had stood up and said I will go from -- and -- just gave me the chills and it still does.
That we have that level of quality of young people.
What's going to be great for the army because recruiting is down a bit over the last couple of years and if people could actually see what you would do.
In the army not only would you do in the army with your particular job but then when I get out of the army how is that gonna change my life.
Not gonna help a lot will be no these skills and mean are -- translator -- the -- experience -- -- in the army.
When you come out you are that much more employable.
I mean even all the vets coming home from the army now -- if people watch the show and see the quality training that these young civilians get -- -- instead look at how really how the army works.
You know every corporation is the watch starting strongly -- -- wanna -- of that because you'll see the discipline and you'll see the work ethic that they didn't give them.
Inserted just I got a way of life I think that it stays with them the army is not career it is a way of life.
