Hi good morning we we we've been telling a story last couple of days here and FOX & Friends.
This all started when your friend Matthew replaced the flag -- your school tell us what happened next.
Oh here places a flag.
And my mom brought it up in the and the wasn't continent.
And she talked to me about -- does -- just things that yeah that's cool.
I didn't really think a whole lot of it and then I started to think about it a little bit more said lol why don't we do anything about it we've replaced the flag why don't we.
Probably respected in my mind saying pledge of allegiance I think is.
A good way to respect the flag sure so at the end of seventh grade I started emailing last year's principal.
He seemed pretty good with the idea bad we didn't get a whole lot done before summer vacation started break.
Then this year -- eighth -- I started working a lot to to get this done and I worked with this year's principal.
And we sent out a survey into the eighth grade which is the first big step.
And about 95% of the students said that they were either somewhat comfortable -- very comfortable things -- -- allegiance every day that's -- other allegations.
It absolutely congratulations.
And the -- they kicked off that insane the -- there at your school again and nobody remembers exactly when they stops -- it.
You gave a little speech.
To the kids in your school what did you say about the -- I said it it's just.
A great way to honor our country and America is a great country and there's so many people that sacrifice their lives for us and for our freedoms.
And we're free and we should be proud to be Americans and we should respect that we should be happy.
Sure and it's not I -- -- he also said it's not about politics it's not about religion it's about democracy and the right to say it now since you've restarted it.
What's the the reaction -- A lot of my friends say good job.
A lot of some of my friends they don't even say and it's a good job to me I'm proud you you -- get.
And then some of my friends come up to me as some of people that aren't really my friends come up to means they had.
I don't really like days I mean this video -- -- do this and you know they shouldn't say that because they can just not say it.
Where you're -- shorten it and next year you're going to be going in -- high school.
At the high school you go to will go to do they say the pledge -- you know.
They started saying the pledge.
Before I reinstated about a -- -- apple -- they might have heard about it and wanted to reinstated and then wanna hear from me.
Or are they just thought it was a good idea.
Well you know what you're tenacious it took it over a year to do -- but you've got flag salute back.
