Scandal a day it appears a brand new scandals about to rock the Obama administration in this once again.
Involves cover -- of the State Department now CBS news uncovered internal documents from the agency's inspector general.
According to the report quote several recent investigations were influenced manipulated or simply called off.
Now the memo obtained by CBS news cited eight specific examples among them allegations.
That a State Department security official in Beirut quote engaged in sexual assaults on foreign nationals hired as embassy guards.
And that members of former secretary of state Hillary Clinton security detail quote.
While on official -- some foreign country.
Our problem the report says was endemic.
-- the memo also reveals details about quote underground drug rings.
That -- operating near the US embassy in Baghdad and supplied State Department security contractors with drugs.
-- the question is why is this story important you know first the State Department won't comment about specific allegations in the report begs the question.
Why not what's so dangerous about the truth.
And second State Department employees they're being paid for by you the American taxpayer.
And we're working overseas they represented every American and that means they need to conduct themselves.
In an appropriate manner consistent with American principles third or nation that respects the rule of law.
If crimes outlined in these memos are committed woman justice needs to be sir.
And joining me now Fox News contributor Liz Cheney -- Pretty shocking.
Amazing and I would had a fourth -- Alex is a national security you know one of the allegations in this report was that.
An ambassador who is currently serving in a country -- any European country which fox isn't naming.
In fact -- this -- prostitution and that he was called back to Washington reprimanded but that he's allowed to stay opposed.
And when you've got a situation with foreign intelligence services.
No one of our ambassadors may be engaging in that kind of activity it's a clear threat to our national -- you know we always hear when Americans are abroad that.
The actions of our government -- cause them to not like us some want to attack us.
If they're committing sexual assault would that be a case -- I mean it's it's the fact also that the assertions been made that this stuff is being covered up.
And and I would point to the involvement potentially Cheryl Mills.
-- -- Cheryl Mills.
Was secretary Clinton's chief of staff somebody who is very clearly directed in an implicated in the Ben Ghazi cover up now implicated in this cover up.
Increasingly day by day it looks like she's somebody who really needs to be subpoenaed in the answer directly what role was she playing why we see some sort of an enforcer to make sure that anything that looked harmful.
Was -- to see why today why do you think why did the investigations always stop.
Well in LA it and it looks to be that this administration if you look at that the relationship with the inspector general in this case.
You look at their relationship for the IRS.
You know the normal boundaries that previous administrations have respected you know when you've got the head of the IRS at the White House wants during the Bush Administration.
That those boundaries simply don't mean anything to this president.
And at the same time that you see him engaging in his people engaging these kinds of cover ups.
You know they have actually no concern about doing things like you know this story a couple of weeks ago now where they released.
The names the email address is the GPS coordinates of 80000.
Farmers and ranchers all across this nation to environmental groups.
And response to -- requesting that here exactly is where they live.
And you know that they they have absolutely no concern about giving out our personal information.
Putting people at risk.
Potentially putting their business -- risk maybe their lives at risk but you know boy don't try to investigate that -- -- using the term on the program chasing rabbits.
It seems that the administration will do any thing.
To get off the scandals that they're now facing is this one of those examples you know you have to start to think I mean that the pace at which the staff is now coming out.
You know the -- this administration has been for the most part vary as skilled politically.
And when they're facing very real scandals you know constitutional crisis in the case for example of the IRS.
Like we may not have seen since Watergate.
Where they use the IRS to target their political enemies you know they probably would much rather people be talking about Hillary Clinton in the State Department then Barack Obama is IRS.
Follow national security very closely when when the server systems that are operated by Microsoft Google Yahoo!.
they -- looking at people's emails the transfers.
Live chats file transfers.
I mean it is that necessary you know I AM.
I'm a supporter of the NSA program and I believe admiral Hayden for example has said that if it'd been in place before 9/11.
We may well prevent that attacks I think we have to be very careful here.
If we have a program underway where the government is for example finding pocket litter -- -- terrorist and using that to say okay.
Who else in this country have they talked to.
I would be much more hesitant to say immediately look this is a problem with this program I think our national security depends upon us finding the bad -- -- But even senses something so broad sweep -- -- the least efficient thing to do if we wanna find terrorists because I agree with you I would support to an extent.
But we don't control our borders well -- I mean we should control borders obviously.
I don't think we you and I know exactly how this program work.
My anger frankly is very much directed at that young man -- -- revealed the now imagine that he revealed the deet tails of this program college and I sent that back out and -- -- you know revealed -- so this programming and fled and I would also say the president can have it both ways.
The president stands up and says the war's over.
Then he's got a real credibility problem when he's undertaking actions like this one which clearly -- -- -- you when you're at war.
But again I would be very hesitant to criticize the NSA program itself.
Without knowing much more about it I -- that we know it's been what we do know though concerns me because it's so broad sweeping it seems the least -- efficient way to go about it -- snooping and -- accumulating all the stated that they could never sift through anyway.
But yet they won't label somebody terrorists they won't control board is it seems they're missing the simple well and I think that's a problem with Barack Obama.
You know when you have a president who has come.
Like you know what's happening over -- State Department.
When you have something as important is significant as this NSA program he he's clearly not the -- in the Oval Office to be -- -- you know we respect you.
Nice to see in studio.
Great to blow here and welcome to our home beautiful location you've got cash on -- right and congratulations -- daughters are doing great -- barrel -- racing congratulations thank you specify.
