Good morning I have a late start thanks to the George Zimmerman trial court's going out of Florida we'll keep it we'll keep that going on as well here on Fox News -- -- -- -- -- stream here of course on foxnews.com and of our commentators will continue to follow the trial as they go through jury selection of course as it moves along.
Over the course of the next weeks and potentially months that is a big deals we know coming from Florida.
Meantime with a little late start we are a little bit later so we'll still be able to have our guests as well as a -- here a tactic live in fact right now -- go out into our first guest joining us here live in Los Angeles.
Steve -- in the IG in dot com we're talking everything he's three out which is here in LA you know what's -- it.
Things we talked about the last year -- the show's Lester.
He's kind of become a comic con for -- for digital the digital world Lotta respects with the games coming out now so many games crossing over to television shows movies and all the different ways they can all be connected together RE three this year a lot of big announcements yeah outlawed.
Huge announcements games were really excited to hear about the new console price points for Microsoft I think that's been the question how much -- these things gonna cost.
And they also want to know what are the -- and restrictions Microsoft.
Aggravate a lot of gamers few weeks ago when they announce -- expert ones that.
You're not going to be alone in games Huckabee were -- games and a lot of confusion about -- the -- a little bit of it at the show this year but.
So anything that went right for Microsoft said you can -- -- -- friends you can sell games we're not gonna restrict -- -- all and it was very entertaining to watch this company go directly after their competitors such a -- way.
I bet you know for for viewers -- -- -- -- this lasted a little bit when we had a talking about the new Xbox and that some of the games won't be able to play on the new Xbox console.
-- and what we're talking about right now is that Sony PlayStation fours out.
-- the -- Xbox console as well and they're going head to head in a lot of ways of people homers and will.
Isn't just for gamers and and I try to explain indifference not mean you you can does this make your TV it's Smart TV if not already Smart TV -- -- -- -- -- you can do want it.
For example I watched him all beat up TV on my PlayStation 3 also tell -- -- -- both PlayStation what is a significant difference between PlayStation 3 and fours I mean give it to the basically people are.
Well it's more powerful right I mean that's the most -- level.
It's going to be able deliver graphics that are much much more improved and we saw on previous generation.
Has a lot of new connectivity built into it as well so what you -- at Microsoft and -- wanna take over the right they wanted to be a one stop entertainment solution for -- -- -- -- packing even more of those features into the nucleus for.
Well you mentioned Angel -- for those of us who had a -- play three games have been quite literally have to test use them.
Wolf three games play out for.
Well I don't know that I mean we do know that they are planning to support previous previous generations and we're not sure about the specific -- Some of the comments coming now and -- moment.
I'll ask for Xbox -- In this game between PlayStation Xbox there's obviously the two major console and this -- been off for a while.
Who do you think has the lead now these two -- -- -- -- the one that really stands out over the Ottawa.
Well I think Sony is doing better with gamers right now and I think that's on kind of -- lower price point 39 and I'm supposed to for an for the Xbox.
And they were able to speak directly to the things that aggravated gamers in the Microsoft says that you can -- game and -- games.
Now whether that's true or not or whether that's a sustainable business office and in the long run we're not a -- Well price book is obviously Sony you know with a significantly more affordable price point what your -- or not.
Like I can see by my parents at home in the when -- union new -- Blu-ray players that want to go get.
A one early in the -- -- -- Sony play blu -- grandkids come over they can play video games on their concern -- games likely.
Angle and turn your TV -- -- a great TV flat screen only a few years old and to a Smart TV can be able to put some of these apps on their through these gaming systems.
And when they heard it that way they were more interest it.
Hundred dollars cheaper -- make them more -- -- All absolutely agreement hundred bucks a lot to a lot of people -- especially to a younger gaming and could you maybe in high school and college hundred bucks a lot of money to what about the the the aspect a lot of games are no longer using obviously this to -- it's it's -- on line.
Com these -- -- -- that up and not correct absolutely I mean Microsoft you have to install games on the hard drive.
And as far as being on line goes Microsoft and Sony each want their customer to be connected to them not just to.
Gauge whether or not their titles being pirated.
Revere him -- but also to give you -- ready.
Avenue right into the store.
Right I mean if -- -- bottom line it's much easier to -- downloadable content on the -- five dollar map pack for games.
That got predictable -- -- here Deborah Saunders is watching it policies he lists and act and what they hearings character and before.
-- -- -- -- -- Obviously Cutler obviously with a big have been the big game trainers and a lot of respect that they really get garner enough a lot of headlines.
-- what else that we see that would also eat -- bring us.
-- solitary gates -- me with a new console generation it's a great time for -- -- to launch new intellectual property -- so we've seen at the end of this console cycle which is gone for two on me right response.
Lot of games with threes or fours or fives in the now we're seeing some new light -- -- respondents -- hasn't been called -- fall which is a giant robot shooting game very very fun.
Bungee dispute given -- -- back with a new game called -- And it still scifi shooter but -- -- putting a new spin on things.
We've seen a lot of new like he's come out of the show and it's been really.
Presented -- question to I don't agree with you and that is obviously your bus that -- the Xbox but one.
Our company's made some inroads in a lot of the politically with their phones Samsung and it seemed like they -- beginning this whole console wars well.
-- in the mobile gaming market and through the open source market things like who he's writing platforms mister McVeigh responses from the ground more attention.
We haven't talked about ten minute those are significant question of units and are estimated -- huge.
In -- viewers with -- and of course they that -- -- universe yeah yeah we came out last year so Nintendo sort of sitting back and watching Sony and Microsoft go about it.
Apartment -- -- north of fantastic fan base and they've announced at this year's show.
The franchise the people want to hear about they've announced new market news -- -- gotten super smash bros games so.
They're going directly to their consumers saying look we've got the games -- -- to -- -- policies.
Bomb and obviously this is.
I think people also realize what they crossover is known as we get segment a few weeks ago talking about how.
You know there's -- and connect television.
Video games on -- it's it's three or four different concepts all put together and as we saw what comic con.
You know -- -- will see that coming up next month.
Yeah this is what crossed over where Hollywood's got involved get the movie industry watching all this -- it's not just.
A bunch of kids at home gaining -- college age kids -- high school -- kids that are playing games and focused on the computer this is a much bigger industry it's obviously really expanded out.
-- -- -- that the studios in Hollywood understand that and the game publishers and San Francisco understand that there's tremendous energy and bring those two worlds ago because if you enjoy the avengers movie and you -- the avengers comic.
They wanna touch you in the game spaces while they -- -- make sure that they've got an offering for you in that market that makes sense for the types of things that your interest.
We see a lot more integration of recently.
-- -- -- new massively multiplayer online game but specifically linked to -- show produced.
That's like it was actually that defies when we talked about it the interview we had side by -- talking about it yes so they've got that Stephen Spielberg announced he's working on regular TV series.
And we saw quantum break at the show as well this year.
And that's game it's sort of blurring the lines as well between television and -- -- What.
Any surprises -- -- this here's what was there that you were like -- Maybe to Nestle expects or maybe it was surprise doable but what was the price point -- -- a surprise there was Edison things up and we don't know.
I mean except -- -- prices to be about world war I didn't expects -- me because that directly Microsoft speak specifically to the things.
As far as games and -- was it's not about we've already talked about -- -- about -- Ubisoft has another game called the division which is for the post apocalyptic shooter right I will say watching all the conferences on Monday I was struck by the number of games that focus on shooting as the primary and that's it -- report and I'm not against violence against necessarily -- -- game mechanic but when I was really surprised by what the number of titles with the news that the world lotteries and games -- -- were -- close games where.
Creativity was more focused and destruction -- -- blowback from I mean -- -- policies.
Medal here on foxnews.com but also one on channel had of course seen that the shooting incidents that happened last Friday -- the one -- had a Monica.
Cover the one Gabby Giffords shooting no doubt -- Arizona year and a half ago.
Is there any blowback in the industry instances did you see I mean we see more game reality gun games over the -- of me was a really talking at all.
-- not really you know focus on that a lot within the industry I think are.
-- my belief I want right presume to speak for everybody understood my belief is that we live in the society through celebrates.
Violence and games reflect back.
I don't know the extent to which games.
Influence it but it -- -- reflection of the society that we haven't if you look at movies and television shows mean.
That's sort of confidence in one place.
All right so what do you think we're going to hear what went the last -- -- -- -- -- what's what do you see the rest of this year this coming out of me.
Well we're gonna double down coverage of the -- to -- performing well -- audiences includes things like kingdom hearts division.
We also saw -- new Star Wars game -- -- recently closed down Disney acquired him and is now licensing up property development so the first title from that.
Licensing deal the through this year he is working and -- So we're gonna try to dig into that find out more about these games in the coming -- and basically we're all looking forward to really great college season.
Look at will sport and maybe have more news the year goes on and you guys -- -- at New England now on the -- I think it's great that -- -- a good run out of these clearly appreciated layman's terms of people at home but sometimes don't gaming community middle bit.
Into what -- -- any community cancer so I think that related units of the points with the -- -- -- big deal and of course that.
The game maybe nothing really -- Samsung and both Nintendo.
Well upstate but the -- Energy ideas dot com in the -- there right here one more information about some of the games they -- Talk more about the games consoles everything you want to know.
But I -- comic Steve come on here talking again editors.
And I and a lot that in fact it back the next few -- talk more about what's happening.
All right what we yeah we come back -- of course if you're here in the George Zimmerman not feedback that'll happen -- As we go to break the -- are still talking about jury selection at this point is going to be weeks probably months trials we move forward.
We also have some great information -- but.
-- -- say what's happening there Jeremy -- coming up next there was ever -- gadgets that you're not yet but data present bothers me we have a few you might be able by putting up.
Automatic window washer.
That could be good but if you live -- the coast more information coming up after the break.
All right welcome back it's nineteen past the hour you're just joining us get a little bit of a late start in the George -- -- going -- -- Florida of course that coverage will continue here on foxnews.com.
With a live stream of the jury selection process and you will have fox folks and guests giving their feedback.
Of what's happening so far are you planning here on fox news live dot com as they go to commercial remarks by the go to recess breaks -- -- -- is that we do here on tactic.
We also of course have our NSA -- and it's a guest coming -- -- heard about.
If you have yet god -- a father's present what I have not.
There's a number of ideas we'll show you here.
As -- move on -- show Jerry Kaplan outside technology Jennifer foxnews.com joins us live talk about the NSA in the NSA program.
Obviously Jeremy huge stories coming out there's been -- -- -- -- we've.
That are involving technology and essays is of course at the forefront of that fact Fox -- -- great reporting on that we have some more reports coming out of -- firsthand.
In regards to an -- -- -- coming over the course of the next week explains in the technology people how some of these words are being played with if you will I want to start off first.
You have I don't think we'll know about this and -- -- in the part about what you want -- how to companies are responding with a first was about the NSA.
In a new massive facility in Utah you totally becoming the gathering senator -- for everything technology explain it to us and explain the slide show.
It precisely we have this very nice it's like to look at this new facilities being built in you -- is going to be the largest.
I wanna called a data spying warehouse.
Eight in the United States -- is going to be uses using when this whole scandal broke originally.
We learned that they were collecting information from Verizon.
From land lines not cell phones and we have every reason to assume that this is something's going on for other landline providers as well you -- -- -- for example.
The data that they -- collecting has to go somewhere where to go it goes to Utah.
That gigantic facility that you saw right there they had a ribbon cutting ceremony last last month to -- until this thing.
Private of course nobody actually got to go see it you go up the front of the only -- that wall of windows that we're showing you right there inside though is just an incredible amount of technology.
Experts don't know precisely what it is because it is so top secret we believe -- -- is chock full servers we spoke with an expert yesterday -- -- he said.
Most -- something like 5000 servers used I have some numbers for that just astounding to think about.
One point seven billion dollars to build this thing it's one point five million square feet overall.
It could hold as much as I got a -- of data which is just a preposterous number they're -- it's equivalent to.
520 million pages of text just a preposterous amount of information.
All being -- over there what they're doing with it.
That's the whole big scandal here what exactly are they do -- information whose information is it.
It is an -- information I think the public really wants to know some more information about that kind of stuff.
Yeah I don't think that's -- -- -- we're -- here boxes is our reporters in DC and around the country have been.
-- -- feedback if you will and some people in these industries to give us more of an idea of what is being gathered and John Roberts one of our colleagues had a report yesterday basically talking what the digital footprint that we leave.
It every day and now but it means getting up and is turning -- Kindle or iPad.
Leaves a digital footprint not not to mention it texts and phone calls and emails -- -- that's.
Those are the basic things -- really or ten years old when it comes to Tracy you're talking about things now where you can.
They can know by you within a millisecond of asserts that you've you've taken so I think people don't realize really how close were being followed.
Exactly and then now that leads to the other point that I want to discuss with you hear what exactly is being tracked here because I think that there's been a lot of misconception.
Largely because we're talking about some laws and in some nondisclosure agreements have been signed here we can't.
By law know exactly what's going on at least until we have some hearings and get some straight facts from these guys.
But the original reports that came -- from the Washington Post from the guardian -- we've done some stories as well a lot of those initial reports said.
Companies like FaceBook and Yahoo! and Microsoft and AOL that they are directly involved with this program called prism that they are handing over they're complicit.
In passing our information directly over the government.
Both of those reports and we've seen a slide show.
A leaked PowerPoint presentation that came directly from the government that -- -- says that very very explicitly.
New information is come to -- it looks like that.
I want to say that that's -- show is.
Missed portraying the facts from what I've -- I spoke with some people it -- just the other day they were saying.
Well we are not by any means handing information directly over in fact all of the major tech companies -- now said.
Absolutely not the Google chairman post this -- statement a few days ago saying.
-- -- -- What though.
He basically said no we are not doing that I don't even know what this program is -- there's this massive disconnect here between.
Well on one hand this PowerPoint presentation says and what these technology companies are saying and right in the middle there's some truth but I think we still have yet to get to it.
Very interesting stuff going on I -- -- want -- my data to be kept confidential I don't want the government going through it are saying.
Really hard to tell right now but I think I'm leaning towards thinking not so much remains to be seen.
I'm very eager to suit comes on some of these hearings were having.
I'm only in the other direction I -- I think probably likely.
The reason being I'm hearing some of the folks that are in this industry and when it comes down -- are playing with words and and I can tell you firsthand from doing the news reports that we do and I have done over the course of the last few months.
And specifically been Ghazi.
And I've I've noticed how government officials.
Not just on one particular and want to -- party or another how they how they play with words bomb and for example I've been told that you know.
You can say yeah we're not -- who was aboard were not keeping Americans now you're not taping Americans that you don't hate anymore that's that terminology that's really antiquated.
But you what you are doing is providing links that go to locations where the conversation has been -- It may not be recording -- be kept in a different format but it's not just numbers and I think that's what Americans are starting to realize.
Com you'll have to hit.
Americans over the head with some this information because we're so busy doing other things to understand that.
You know you are really being tracked in every sense of the word and it comes down to how much are you comfortable with.
We all want security we are ones they do we don't -- the bad guys to be to be -- But the same time how much do we -- -- give up I mean honestly I I don't want you know I don't like doing anything illegal but it -- a drug in my life in the same time I don't want it we'll know exactly what -- good.
I'll tell my -- everything.
Until my son everything minister Dominique goes sit down and read part of my -- the latest book I bought in the living room I don't -- -- but no I'm certain there wake me up -- mess with me sowing.
That's -- the Americans are starting to start to realize but they really get paid to do the wording that's coming out of Washington arguably the playing with.
Worse that's exactly right and and you know we had the exact same situation going on here the first words -- -- the first words that that they were using to describe this.
Compliance with this program with direct access does the government have direct access button to Facebook's servers.
Faced Ocalan said no the government did not have direct access and then move and I didn't know they do not have direct access.
However they have been direct access.
Yes they do in fact they have the -- explicit procedures.
For getting access.
So question the question arrives -- you know how much access we still don't know exactly how much -- I think you're right -- probably right have a lot of that information and they probably shouldn't.
So a lot still have to come out with a.
I got a couple of yeah I a couple people tweeting here -- numbers says DWL Bok on they live -- here in life foxnews.com says.
Snowden is swore an oath to protect to serve goes through it snowed service country but never to follow orders -- which he has the right to go gives -- the chain of command.
Obviously is becoming more of a question somebody else put upon here he believes that were being lied to we're -- to win it would back in March.
Win officials from an -- testified in front of congress so.
Online right at a certain pick up some steam as well people are are weighing in.
And started to -- -- note of what's what's being what's happening really what they're maybe missing.
What we've got down -- -- a question of who can you trust and the thing that Edwards should remember is.
Don't put anything out there if you don't want it out there right -- -- -- that just that default thing we have to keep reminding people don't put pictures out there the project was.
Don't -- -- yeah but the problem is we're talking about more than that I mean it's about things you don't even know your phones tracking you to drive to work.
You're running -- texting sending an email setting up photo I mean so the point now is OK I understand if I should want that picture up there of me no drinking out of -- red Solo -- out there.
-- -- I also want information going to every single company that buys it of what time I go to work where I stop for gas to I -- to get -- doing what -- -- stopping a copy of atomic -- the front door of the opposite me.
I want -- -- information sharing -- tweeting all I just passed you know seventh street Santa Monica you know how much saying that so but my phone is telling people that that's where I think the frustrating part.
And that kind of stuff Ontario Internet -- you're shouldn't be doing that flat out and it's it's unclear exactly how much of that is going on right now but if any of it is going on it just.
It feels wrong it just shouldn't be happening.
It doesn't just days ago before -- a commercial here -- sometimes old is new again.
Of one of our our viewers tweeted an art texts that say chatted in on five -- -- -- -- That I get your dad and it's a secure mail account by him since -- suspect that.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- Although I will say that letters tracked through technology.
And knows where it was -- what time pretty much lot out of -- -- -- it was an L where it came exactly a bit.
So it's not it's still maybe a little more secure because I don't know -- tiny drop in the mailbox.
Anyway well Jerry got a -- that was always.
That is true Wallace who -- lots and a couple of we're talking about to break -- -- really break rules -- stays stays somewhat security for a legitimate Kaplan I -- Security first science technology -- a foxnews.com.
I you can see that's -- so right now I recommend you check it out what we know about the NSA -- big.
Massive facility in Utah -- great slide show Jeremy has that there's a check it out right now foxnews.com.
And we will be I'm sure we're talking about this for the weeks and months of them things that.
-- -- -- At W two as well to come back -- quick break we'll come back talk about a dads for Father's Day you don't have anything yet for dad I got some ideas right here in front of us that's coming up right after the break.
-- I welcome back it's thirty past the hour yes we are couple minutes later than normal because the George Zimmerman trial is back on it you know jury selection -- taking place right now.
And this is normally -- place you'll have -- -- so when they go to break this is where you can find the Fox -- experts and Fox News host talking about the trial court what's going -- -- Florida.
In the meantime our normal Fox News like shows continue this -- tech take life.
And we've been talking about the NSA of course people at home really need to take note of this whether you're on the right or the left side of the political -- before that we talked about.
Big whether you like games or not.
-- this part of our show we talk about the gadgets that are out there are things you can buy right now on -- right now in stores.
That might well you might peak your interest -- with Father's Day coming up there's a number of people out there that.

Close things out there's the apps right there on its touch screen plus you still have the keyboard.

Maybe allies -- -- some -- -- phones out there but I don't it's not heavy either so I believe the people will like this.
Electric trying to really get back into the market this could be one of the ways they stand with this keyboard because they perfected this.
And it really like the interaction with being able touch the screen.
More so than my -- to have here which is also touch screen as well I really believe they picked it up and not with this new -- -- in the Q -- this is by sprint.
