But my it's my job at fox is does tell stories of people of faith people who were standing up.
For the lord Jesus Christ that is what I do and I'm here to tell you -- Brothers that.
We are a nation at war with the culture.
We need men young men were willing to stand up and say.
I am standing up for Jesus Christ I am standing up for the values.
That this country was founded upon.
And it closing tonight I want to share with you two stories of two young men.
Who decided to stand up.
One of them his name is Jake name and he was a senior at a high school in California.
Eagle scout member of the track team.
This young man was with his -- journalism students at his high school and a national high school journalism conference in Minnesota thousands of people were there.
And Jake and his classmates -- the front row here.
When all of a sudden the speaker started Kersey the Bible.
He started happily Christian teenagers.
And young Jake.
I've talked to him and he says mr.
starts there was something in my heart that told me to stand up.
And in front of thousands of other teenagers -- young man stood up.
And he walked out refusing to sit there and listened to someone ridicule.
Jake didn't look behind him he just kept right on -- people were -- this young man.
The speaker a grown man started cursing as this young teenager walked out of the building.
Jake didn't turn around but if Jake had turned around you know what he would have seen.
He would have seen this fellow classmates.
At that high school.
Walking single file line right behind -- that story.
-- name and was a young man who took a stand.
And if you take a stand others will take a stand as well.
-- -- final example came just a few weeks ago at a high school in South Carolina a young boy named Roy the high school valedictorian.
Ol' Roy loves Jesus -- loves Jesus.
And he wanted to thank the lord and -- -- testimony.
In his valedictorian address.
But the school -- that address they said Roy couldn't talk about Jesus.
Roy wrote a speech and he got up and he was prepared to deliver his remarks to many many people.
And Jake and I'm sorry Roy told me that he said he felt missed -- it has sold that was the -- used a stirring in Seoul.
And -- front of all those people in front of his mom and his dad who is a youth pastor.
Ruling tore up the speech.
At the school approved.
And he said these words.
Who -- happen.
-- it took a stand.
I'm here to tell you tonight.
That we need more people like Jake and more people like Roy young men here in this room -- willing to take a stand and let me tell you something gentlemen.
If we start taking a stand.
Things are going to happen.
I cover Washington DC and I've got to tell you something we don't need politicians -- -- gonna bow down to the Republican elephant or the Democrat donkey.
We need men who are willing to bow down to the king of kings the lion of Judah.
Those are the stories.
Those are the stories that I love.
I hope to meet many of you here just a few moments and I hope to -- many of you young people because we need more Christian journalist quite frankly.
We need more young men and young women who were willing to stand up and report -- truth fair and balanced.
And I would love to talk to some -- you guys if you're if you're interest of the journalism.
