-- it's a humbling experience to me to know how many veterans are out there.
You know having started their own business there's literally millions.
And you know being recognized by the national that are known business association.
You know singled out among those great Americans is a great -- So you you were singled out for 2008 you form pinnacle.
Do -- view co founded pinnacle.
The pinnacle group and now what do they focus on.
-- we started out with aviation training primarily and that's everything from computer based training applications all the way up the flight simulators.
We've expanded we actually have instructor pilots fly an aircraft.
We produce manuals to support the maintenance in the operation of aircraft.
And couple of commercial ventures lately doing online learning.
And some sophisticated.
Using gaming technology to you know allows students anywhere around the world -- access.
Some of the courses that are available -- various universities is pretty impressive.
-- as -- ten million dollar company and you -- roaring in 2013 you get this award.
What are your thoughts back.
When you look back at a video you've been held hostage for those eleven days.
In Somalia -- that something that's still with you on a daily basis.
They had -- on a daily basis I guess that you know that the biggest he's an encouragement -- that was a few years ago the anniversary rolled around October 3.
And I didn't even think about it until pretty late in the day that it that was the anniversary so.
I just think it's a two isn't as much as I can't I've moved on.
But it's it's something that'll never believe.
My life it's -- you know it's a big part of my identity and to tried to learn from it then move on and and leverage you know those experiences in the great people that I worked with to continue on what.
And might I know you quoted as saying -- all the discipline and and the hard work they've developed this company you've learned a lot of that in the military.
What message -- veterans right now -- having trouble getting motivated into getting to civilian life to serving our country.
In two wars over the last ten plus years.
Well it's been -- -- I -- -- -- a lot out of our troops and and they've risen to the challenge.
I think the moral domain -- thing the most important thing for all of them is to understand that there is help.
-- they may not nowhere to go but there's help everywhere.
There's government organizations -- civilian organizations that are all out there.
In with great intentions you know try and do help facility transitions for these.
Warriors in their families.
And you know -- from my perspective the main thing is don't quit life's not easy.
You know starting a business wasn't easy for me either I did get a lot of help but.
You just got to persevere drive on make it happen the same things that made these people successful in the military.
We'll make them successful in transition.
And I -- a clinical solutions you've hired a lot of veterans as well the 2013.
