So I started making my way in that direction in case the dog came down in my jurisdiction.

And I went over to his area to to help and try to capture it.
We gone to the area where the dog was and as soon as we got out of the patrol car the dog took off running from us.
Just kept Ryan -- into a field where we weren't able to get to it so.
At that point we had the owner of the dog called down to come from a crash scene to see if she can help us grow the dog so.
When she arrived on scene the dog stopped running she went out into the field trying to get the dog to come back and at that point the dog to stop movement.
And -- are trying to -- the dog up and she was having difficulty doing that so.
I keep the lead in the back of my patrol car just for situations like this so I got the lead out and I walked out of the -- to help the dog.
And the owner and as I attach the lead to the dog's -- that's when I saw that the reason the dog was a -- -- was because her pads work.
Really injured had skin hanging off of -- so.
I'm I asked the -- -- the -- gonna bite if I try to pick her up and she said she didn't know nobody else has ever try to pick her up before.
Besides her so.
I got down on the dog's level -- -- patter and everything trying to get hurt be comfortable with me and once I felt she was.
