Good morning and I am Chris dialogue and these are your buzz cuts for Wednesday first.
Taking the war -- international President Obama in Sweden today.
Where he's probably assembling furniture also but also know saying that he said in a red line.
The earth the -- -- -- red line he was just mentioning it in Syria we'll talk about that next.
The president's campaign team is getting back together and got back together this week to him over the -- on the Syria war.
And all of the good folks from organizing for America got back together to talk about what to -- to so president's war plan.
We'll talk about that.
Bubba stumps for Obama care Billy Jeff Clinton.
The big he's a big dog is going to make remarks he's away in a surprising move for Bill Clinton.
Is running a little behind schedule at his own presidential library down to Little Rock in the bridge to the 21 century -- residents Obama.
Which Bill Clinton probably say is not as good as he would've done it but probably not good to explode either.
Michael Bloomberg -- may be coming to play.
In the Virginia gubernatorial race sensing a chance -- -- -- gun control advocate in the governor's mansion in a formerly red state would be pretty appealing to Bloomberg.
Would it help or would it hurt.
-- -- probably hurt probably not helpful for Virginians to hear that New York born.
Terry McAuliffe is backed by New York mayor.
But just saying just putting it out there.
And finally a final -- -- Kanye West Schilling with a dictator.
It you know gold toilets are not free okay.
And we find today from the daily caller.
That Kanye West is under fire after allegedly now he accepted -- but -- it accepted it three million dollars to sing for that's that dictator.
Nor sold on another -- as it was back in 2011.
That -- had no others like she.
Have said yes.
Who is a bigger -- Now as a -- out of -- and -- and the world will never know those -- -- buzz that's it's all part of power play today and it's happening right now.
I didn't set a -- more.
The world -- -- -- The world -- -- red line when.
Governments represent 98% of the world's population said.
The use of chemical weapons are -- And passed a treaty.
Forbidding her use even when countries are engaged in war.
That was President Obama speaking at a press conference in Sweden earlier today with that country's prime minister.
And this is power play the president's point there was his credibility is now on the line.
The Earth's credibility is on the line it's not about him.
-- the red lines he said in Syria it's about that the whole earth the plane at 98%.
Of the Earth's said that he wanted to use chemical weapons -- the Earth's credibility is on the line and also point out.
Congress congress is credibility is on the line that is someone whose credibility is never -- -- Matt Lewis he of the daily caller.
Where you can get stories like Kanye -- -- -- with 'cause -- blood money.
That's not the headline you guys now now I -- that's me.
Matt Lewis welcome to the big -- and killed OK so prism unless that is.
He didn't set the red lines in.
The Red Line exists he was just pointing it out and he also said when asked.
In this mini press conference -- there is credibility with someone -- is not my credibility it's congress' credibility if they fail to act.
And George -- who doesn't right for the George will wanted out he said that the -- he's very the president looking for complicity.
Guy who doesn't much.
Here it seems like about congress wants congress and the play now.
Right journalism writes for the daily caller yes yes surprising his host of processor that's true that's gonna go -- -- -- is gonna.
-- -- -- -- -- -- Still look it is -- staying talk about passing the buck.
But Barack Obama didn't just say red line of course he did say -- did.
He also said when asked about chemical weapons that would change my calculus.
That would change my equation he caught -- a game changer right so the notion that he could.
From that from ownership that is absurd -- look I think he has he does have a point that.
-- I think as a society we have decided that chemical weapons are you know.
A bridge too far you can move down people with conventional weapons -- all day long against the war against chemical weapons I think it is since he has a point but.
Not enough that he can attempt to.
Separated -- from.
It it is interest thing -- -- there's anything juxtaposition in this.
The president says.
It's not about me it's not about my credibility it's about what the world said and he's just.
It's it's more of the I'm not -- this I'm just I'm I'm I'm an act.
Actual one of many actors in this.
But we didn't see that his campaign team gathered at the White House yesterday.
And talked about this we also heard David Axelrod or at least the sound of his Twitter.
When he said that the Republicans were getting themselves into big trouble on this he said -- -- -- the dog that caught the car.
They wanted the president to come to them and now that will be their ruined nation.
It seems like this were.
A guy who's being dismissive of this the president certainly.
Is reverting to the sort of campaign are tied.
-- for dealing with this -- Jonah Goldberg.
Said the other day that it was public signs tell he -- going to congress are spiked.
Right and when does get the sense there there is a political calculation and if you look at -- Stands to you know obviously.
Put this in perspective.
What's happening in Syria is hugely important for humanitarian reasons this neighborhood we stipulate that.
But I think I do think Obama is pursuing a political strategy as well and the people were put.
On the spot most immediately are Republicans actually heard about this at the daily caller yesterday I think innocence Rand Paul stands to gain.
Because going to force is at his political adversaries Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.
Who've been able to sort of -- class and be a little bit libertarian a little bit anti interventionist and also.
Traditional Republican it's -- force them to sort of take -- side.
And -- -- of operation chaos.
An adult the other point that I should add as.
It doesn't mean that Obama will have to abide -- what did he say so after after doing this theater is Rand Paul said forcing congress.
To take a stand.
Obama may or may not heed their advice.
-- -- Now museum twenty.
He's in twenty says asks this is -- twenty.
Wisely following me ask you start on the Twitter machine says is Syria finally splitting the GOP.
GO PE I assume that means establishment.
Boehner cantor and RO crystal Barnes McCain's Graham -- leaning yes.
Tea Party cruise and -- and now is it splitting the it's it's -- you would bring is important because.
A -- that.
Who's challenging Mitch McConnell.
In Kentucky senate primary we're gonna ask him about this but when mr.
McConnell left -- left the White House yesterday he did not go.
To the state -- and he did not go talk to reporters as Boehner.
Did and as Eric Cantor then later put out a statement.
Endorsing the president's course of action.
I noted though yesterday with some interest that -- -- Who is challenging.
He -- kind who's been on the show couple times.
Is duke freshman Republican congressman from east Arkansas.
And he's got Mark Pryor ran it in a tough spot democratic senator Mark Pryor.
But he came out he came out and said you know what -- -- the president on this.
How what are the politics are Republicans are are conservative Republicans gonna use this as an implement within their own party or Republicans can use this against Democrats we know it's unpopular.
I think all of the above I think this is a godsend for Mark Prior and Arkansas he's you know this embattled incredibly vulnerable Democrat.
Keep in mind Tom cotton is the only congressman in Arkansas who is supporting Syrian intervention.
-- -- the other three congressman and Arkansas are you know opposing it and so cotton is the one now.
Who finds himself the here's the binary choice right you're -- with Obama -- -- with -- -- Talk about a no win situation that's a tough I don't know who -- unpopular in Arkansas but yeah -- I get your meaning still.
I feet from purely political.
Stand where we were trafficking ring soon.
If I'm advising.
Prior right -- -- have be against the against the Syrian intervention.
Tied Tom cotton to Barack Obama.
And look it's going to be the guy in his race may be gone no matter what he -- but.
You know this open is an opening for him to get to the right of Tom -- believe it.
-- -- Okay there -- doesn't ensure that we were glad that you made time for us to read with the daily -- also at least right.
At -- we got ready I'll say it's all happening and amendments on you -- you take a quick break but when we come back we will have a magnificent analyzed and looked magnificent here.
We will talk about.
Obama care Hillary care -- Barack the whole shoot national enjoyed visual though a lot of funny -- -- I promise and stick around.
President Obama started with a much weaker economy than I did.
Listen to me now.
Not any of my predecessors.
No one could have fully repaired all the damage that he found it just.
-- And that was very nearly a compliment it was almost a compliment paid by former president William.
2012 and this is power play and President Clinton today.
Is doing his part in the ramp up to the launch of the entitlement -- Both president Obama's 2010 health -- giving a speech in Little Rock to say.
And this is just -- on my part it's not as good as I would have made it Clinton will say but it's okay and it's better than what Republicans have to offer.
Vote Hillary 2016.
How about that how about looking ahead to mid terms how about Smart and investigations.
And sometimes -- thoughts.
These will come to you today.
I know because we can.
Proudly announced that runs on -- after a hiatus I don't know what you were doing were -- -- 'cause it's done.
-- not at all -- no zero U I don't know there anyway skills and some you know okay.
Okay there's a more -- in there somewhere.
Iran behind -- is yes yes as principal of singer involved in and budget strategies.
Yes OK that's also true and a former top -- senate Republicans in the former communications director for the it's -- perhaps yes that's all true.
And they even have my notes and you think about that problem came -- stories Matt -- It's enough for me to say that you are -- West Virginia.
I could stop there and it would be enough you're the former head.
The young Democrats that's true for you are -- democratic strategist you can hire you to do stuff.
-- -- if they -- I mean you're you're not averse that I know of your -- for that welcome back for the show.
You were not in president Stan I was not okay Bill Clinton.
Is -- -- -- get the videos of my favorite Bill Clinton compliment of the 2012 cycle.
Wise when he came out and said I'm probably the only person in America more excited about a -- -- 2012 that I was in 2000.
Indeed the president has gone to this the former president is going to be safest place.
Possible to talk about this he's going to inside his own presidential library to give the remarks about the health law.
So here's the question.
How -- the clintons gonna play obamacare as we get into the mid terms and it's an issue.
Even in Arkansas as we were just talking about you've got a tough senate race there for an incumbent Democrat.
-- the clintons gonna played in mid terms and historian played between sixteen.
-- -- -- -- And I think.
The fact of the president's playing such a high profile role speaks to the importance of the issue for the mid terms for and and beyond.
There's no better messenger I think the Bill Clinton when it comes to sort of technical policy issues that the people -- get a hole so.
First what he's gonna do a really good job of explaining why the laws actually be helpful to millions of Americans.
And also we know there's a lot of you know dooming this this whole process before he is even done.
-- -- -- did it actually it actually isn't it could be very effective.
Com there -- no one thinks it will be awesome.
Everybody thinks it will be eventually many people think -- will eventually be okay and they don't work itself -- is the president himself has said there's going to be bombs at a minimum bumps in the road.
Here's here's the here's the kicker though once you have millions of people who have health insurance -- did not previously.
It's very tough to tell people like that that the well is his -- I don't know what you what you get and then there's this thing ain't going anywhere and people are gonna have.
Do you wanna get subsidized health insurance and as long as the republic exists right right.
Well like it's that guy we -- we find it I think a lot of Americans -- of North Carolina pretty scary and that's why.
-- -- -- administration has delayed the game and implementation you know restaurants and small business.
Phase -- -- it.
Because they knew that they would -- electoral losses.
But here but if -- Bill Clinton.
If your Bill Clinton if you -- this is I -- -- Jumbo jet and a 110 right dollars and go salmon fishing in Scotland but go -- this is bill.
Finds time to shine this is what Bill Clinton's Bill Clinton did a favor for rebounder and very Democratic Convention and got out there really explained.
In a very concise way.
Why Obama -- president that's why he's going to try to quote unquote be the explainer in chief again.
Talking about the -- -- because it's so confusing no one understands that people are scared of it and there's Bill Clinton.
Who is who is likely going to try to say look this is a complicated bill let me on complicate this war.
Run so good.
Question for the president the former President Clinton and his wife is they were a big asset Democrats and 2010 going to states where the President Obama was not popular.
There and Bill Clinton worked.
Indeed repeatedly throughout 2010 is Democrats -- their brains beat and and there was an implicit message which was like.
I don't know where Obama is I'm out here for you guys I'm helping me out I'm here in these places and and I'm trying to if he worked really hard.
Putting fourteen -- -- comes a lot closer to Hillary 2.0.
Or is he going to be able to play that same role whether it's in Arkansas for his long -- friend.
-- in other states.
-- -- fourteen is not twenty -- I think that's important place to start with a comment is that you know.
I don't think anybody expects its like electoral losses for Democrats like we saw in the twenty and cycle sets it's -- -- see where it's much safer terrain for the president to be playing on.
On this Republican congresses wildly unpopular so you can lead -- message.
I don't think it's not really receive a proposition -- frankly just to the Clinton name out there two years for four point six -- I don't think it's a bad thing what's the fun.
I think Bill Clinton's gonna try to do a lot of -- for Democrats trying to -- 1014.
Election cycle that I think some.
Yeah took great ticket to game a chance for Hillary 2016 there's no question about it there's a man of the landscape he's gonna get out there and try to hustle and as fast as -- -- Out of sheds a lot of kids going on out there these guys know funny about this we thank you for making sharing some of that with us today gentlemen.
The tournament -- agreement -- -- good things let's go badgers know what I ask her about it -- what our minds upon.
I don't know do you may be in the big twelve -- her in the Big Ten Biden and I don't know but guys thank you so much for making time for -- -- You Internet would you like to meet the guy who is running to knock off the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell -- -- And is waiting to talk to you -- Mario and stick around.
And that is defense.
That is better Mitch McConnell the Senate Minority Leader has firmly affixed himself as a relates with the United States should be bombing Syria.
And this is power quiet welcome back.
You know why Mitch McConnell is straddled there.
Well let me show you.
Is running for the United States senate and the commonwealth of Kentucky.
A Republican who is.
Causing some consternation for the McConnell world welcome.
Thank you -- to be here all right so let's let's start with the ground work.
This senator obviously.
Not obviously apparently has some thoughts about how folks in Kentucky would feel about this war.
John Boehner certainly.
Eric Cantor certainly and other leadership Republicans have said whatever we think about the Syria conflict at this point we've got to get behind the president and get in on this thing.
McConnell is conspicuously.
Undecided at this point.
Did the war as we see is unpopular eyewitnesses -- particularly unpopular in a conservative state like Kentucky.
Com where -- your position.
My position as we have absolutely no dog in that -- we have no business being there we don't even know who -- -- who we literally don't even know fully.
What each side is doing who is responsible for what.
And I do know this.
That is the fact that we have a Senate Minority Leader with his position who's unwilling to take a stand on something this critical we have two major army installations in Kentucky.
It's shameful it really us.
Now there's time for him to.
Come to a conclusion on this is not going to be a vote for another week or so.
If he -- as would be expected that he will join.
The rest of leadership of both parties and support the president on this is this something that.
He can expect to hear about back in Kentucky in the race.
I Guinean eluded to it a moment ago the people of Kentucky and people of America.
Are very strongly opposed to the idea of sending some of our greatest treasure into Syria.
To engage in something that absolutely has no effect whatsoever on our national security.
We have no reason to be there in the people of America and the people of Kentucky are very strongly opposed to us being.
Right now in terms -- -- -- -- There's -- since.
Some surprise I think among Republicans.
-- your viability.
But Mitch McConnell in Kentucky.
He he's had a contentious relationship at times with the electorate in Kentucky.
Is it fair though I mean doesn't he have a double role to play in the sense that -- he's a senator for Kentucky but also.
As the -- Republican in the senate sooner or later he's got to cut deals with Barack Obama.
That I'll tell you this people have had issues with his stance on things his moderate approach to things.
Since long before he became a senate minority does have like he doesn't like a 100% a CU -- I mean he hasn't mastered he isn't very good at making sure the votes lineup on paper.
But if you look at what he actually does what he fights for.
Look at this latest.
Resolution right now this letter actually is being circulated -- -- right you know he is he is actively working behind the scenes to get people corn and -- Others to remove their names from this -- -- preclude people from signing it he's not a conservative is it conservative and if we allow a guy like that too.
Become the face of conservative isn't in America.
Then conservative thinking is in -- world hurt.
Now Alison lonergan -- the Democrat.
Sign of a powerful political family in the state.
This is is being very democratic being very encouraging -- view she thinks she she is rooting you on you've read the articles.
You look at the coverage in Kentucky and she is they're saying.
You know go man go.
Doesn't that suggest that she thinks you're an easier out -- added that -- changed I'll tell you what the people that are her advisors actually held up on discovered this and others as well.
I think National Journal just did an article on it.
Are starting say the exact opposite in the people advising her are saying.
Actually whoa hold up you know we want to read you on this one we want to run against them -- -- Because he is very vulnerable for some of the very reasons you just mentioned.
Right now the McConnell campaign.
Is casting you they say that you -- -- -- -- -- -- because of your Linkedin profile.
You referenced MIT this that you didn't go to MIT.
Clear the record -- I've never claim to go to MIT and anyone who's familiar with the Linkedin can understand how it works you scroll down you see what people have done.
What it does it refers to a program that was an executive education program happen to be held at MIT.
And they then fabricated the idea that I -- -- have gone there I have never claimed to go there it doesn't say that now it's still on my profile didn't go in and look at.
We've got now what about.
That their claim that you.
Got a bailout or your company was bailed out they say that you weren't worried bailout.
And it again not true the pursuit actually came from the state of Connecticut I own company in Connecticut that I took over and this is this is your family business it wasn't -- -- it was my uncle ray in this company was an old filmmaker.
It -- in the the last filmmaker in North America actually makes all the bells for the Salvation Army.
-- just a little historical company that had fallen on hard times in my uncle is going to shut it down I got in.
Help them pay off all of these backed loans and -- and all these different things that the company is in the mess of and then -- burned to the ground the people of the town and the people of the state.
Rallied around it said the state stepped up and said we want to put some money into this I put over a million dollars and this company to keep the state came alongside of the 100000.
Dollar matching grant.
For a guy who knows bailouts like Mitch McConnell bailed out Fannie and Freddie and Wall Street banks it's laughable that he would try to turn this isn't.
What one of his greatest weaknesses into something as an attack on someone else.
There is some pot and -- business that does go -- in this town I don't a little message that number has been known as our last thing are you.
When you think.
The time that you spent in Q what's your content cannot Kentucky connection how can you credibly say I'm -- Kentucky and because you do you've spent time another person I think that's.
You don't have the deep avalanche -- -- right.
I lived in Kentucky for fifteen years and people love to say well I was born there you know and that's their claim to fame on there by choice.
I have nine children eight of my nine children of Kentucky natives.
One of two of my siblings have moved there -- their six children my parents are moving -- so I've done my part to contribute to TV and that taxpayers are so we've done our fair park.
As I say about being from West Virginia got a move there when I was three I was -- -- but I got -- that's the clintons.
When people can learn more if they got a meant that in dot com understand where I stand on these issues we discussed that in camera owners -- -- he has website he's running for the United States and that we thank you thank you conference that.
-- you Internet.
Some business to execute with -- yes on the -- is up next but there's going to be extra goodies and on the -- you can talk to Howard Kurtz who is our new colleagues here in the Washington bureau of the Fox News Channel about his new show that is debuting this weekend I know it's going to be good because I will be -- so you know it's got to be extra awesome if that if they're doing that.
How he will be here to talk to you.
And the rest of the Internet will roll on for the rest of the day.
You'll have my best wishes as you go and now.
As we like to do every day we want to leave you with the work.
And our friend -- the worry that a lot of people have is you give them the bumbling.
Their hesitation -- zigzags.
-- -- -- -- policy up until now which is entirely coherent.
Do you trust him to be the one who will respond adequately.
-- if and when their response happens because once you sign on to this no matter what's in the resolution.
You signed on to Obama.
Conducting the operation.
And the follow on which could -- the assumption is we do it we go home nothing happens.
Could be true but is unlikely to be true.
