Barack Obama Brad Pitt at the movie Troy think quick what doesn't belong in Juan what -- I told you they all belong and I'm gonna tell you why.
Welcome everybody I'm Neil Cavuto and one hit in a Trojan -- is his enemies thought again.
The other -- might have just offered a Trojan horses that -- these phony concession.
Troy as we don't miscalculated -- Republicans about to do the same.
Because -- on pouncing on the administration opting out.
Of a public option on health care adds that the administration all but waving the white flag on health care.
But is this really a Trojan horse only it won't be a supremely fit Achilles played by Brad Pitt coming out of this one.
But I'm not so smelled toga wearing John Belushi big government -- trying to pull the same -- -- you didn't.
We wouldn't know it judging from the harsh comments out of the president's more liberal backers today including a few moments ago House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just saying.
The public -- it is still the best option something echoed by.
-- -- I don't -- -- without the public option there too many people who understand including the president himself the public option is absolutely linked to reform.
What does all of us and elaborate smoke screen to -- just sat a public option a bigger government role lets us Republican senator.
Jim -- senator -- even.
Whatever they call it -- this is a government takeover and I think they may try to call in the -- up thinking column a public option.
But you know they're all on record saying they want -- single Payer government system so any Republican now that helps them pass a bill.
Is helping them pass a government takeover of health care my hope is we can stop this and start over with some real and reform.
A number of us have been talking about ideas that we know would work.
But unfortunately this administration and the the Democrat majority.
They really don't want insurance reform at this point what they want is more government control our health care systems.
You think by even -- that they -- -- whether they're mixing the public option presided at these co ops are in fact.
A public option they are a government that -- Well there are government sponsored enterprise or what I call Fannie -- had in every state.
But it's clear Howard Dean it wants -- the senate to pass any thing so it can go to conference with the house so they can rewrite the bill the way they want.
So any Republican senator who helps them pass something.
With the with the government's standpoint the way they're talking about is I think -- -- just betraying the American people and everything I'm hearing from people around South Carolina.
Is they want the government to get their hands all full of their health care.
In the focus on making health insurance work for more Americans.
But you know what's going to be weird senator close of -- fire than I am but the house will have this this stuff public option.
Detailed out in their final bill right the senate will not and then you gotta go to conference to hammer out something -- ultimately -- of the president's desk.
That is a very wide chasm between.
The two branches -- and a.
But -- and they had the Democrats control the conference between the house and the senate.
They can essentially write the bill with a public option right in the middle of it and then it's almost impossible for us in the senate.
To stop -- in the course the house can pass anything with a simple majority.
You're arguing that if they don't call the public option -- this call -- by another name.
On people might be hoodwinked into thinking the -- box and is out when in fact it's so very much in there.
It is more government control no matter how you look at and if you try to set up a they cause I government cooperative.
And every state level to compete with the individual insurance companies.
That makes absolutely no sense when all we have to do is take away the barriers to interstate competition.
Enforce these insurance companies to compete with hundreds of come companies all over the country.
OK so here we stand now with this public option may be an elaborate you know subterfuge here but.
When Nancy Pelosi comes -- very concerned that the president's orders given up his nerve on this and Howard Dean has.
Effectively -- -- hinted that as well and that they could lose a great deal of support in in the house certainly among Democrats if they pursue this.
Don't necessarily elaborate hoaxes.
Well it's getting complex and it's more complex as these senators and congressmen go home.
In here from their constituents because all over the country nearly as you know people are standing up and speaking out against -- more government control health care.
I had a town hall this meeting with 400 people who came and fortunately I'm on their side trying to stop this thing.
But these are regular citizens it was not manufactured and they just want people to go up -- fight this government takeover I've never seen Americans so.
Alarmed and Al -- I've never seen so many people will -- the stand up and speak out -- Handicapped people every senator I'm sorry that it -- if you lead this state where things stand right now regarding Health Care Reform.
On where we're do you place it.
I'm not gonna call it reform on -- where the government takeover.
But that because there really against reform mail but I think we've got a 5050 shot of stop in this senator thank you very very much for coming down.
Thank you --
