My kids love your stories but this one reminds me a lot about.
Other books that it seemed that kids are so into because they do want to speak like adults but they necessarily don't know what those words mean and you help explain it for them.
-- I think if you look back.
And what I look at the constitution of the United States and I look at the language.
That was used to write it.
And you realize that children grew up then with adults speaking.
With that language.
And it seems as if somehow.
We've said to children.
You're not really smart enough to be able to hear words like appropriate.
We've come up with words like timeouts.
And -- switchers would dumbing down of children.
Not wanting -- were anticipating the children should ever speak like an adult I'm not looking for small little.
-- you eat you know adults.
I love children and I love their language but as adults we use.
Language with our children and for instance there over the word appropriate.
A word that a four year old can hear you know no you can't watch that show right that's inappropriate for you right and they can start incorporate that language.
All I'm talking about is.
Bringing it to -- at a younger age -- I think most people are prepared to do so.
And what of the words in your book is consequence is you just alluded to.
And I find myself using that word and then I'll say you know what that means and that's exactly what your book is all about is saying those big words and then getting the simpler explanation.
Well and the simpler explanation.
That allows them when they're out in the world for someone to say elect you to sit.
I don't know if you do that again there's going to be consequences -- -- all they know what you're talking about I believe that children.
Have an unlimited.
Capacity to learn.
And that it seems like this modern generation of parenting has some how dumb it down our children.
And really made vocabulary.
Issue right it's you know it's that thing where you're saying.
If your child has a good vocabulary.
They'll get high SAT scores I'm not talking about it when it's a simple cries -- the -- Brian talking about it.
Is developed early on in their life and it is embraced and loved in the family I have a dictionary.
