I -- a war -- is heating up in Washington after former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin slammed the Obama administration at the national tea party convention this weekend.
Now in case you missed the governor's speech here are some of the highlights.
-- -- Like a -- law enforcement matter -- our country at great risk.
Because that's not how radical Islamic extremists are looking at -- they don't worry at war and so we have -- fire.
We need a commander in chief not a perfect -- block.
Our president would do well to take your observation.
Kennedy had made once he was an office.
That all of the world's problems aren't his predecessors false.
And all part of that hope and change it transparency.
Yeah right here later I got half of them ordered the -- that.
I hope BT he stuck working now Korea.
I earlier this morning on Good Morning America -- appear that the governor's speech even caught the attention of First Lady Michelle Obama let's take a look.
Changing needs me.
And it doesn't happen overnight when this certainly doesn't happen in a year and hope with that comes -- And consistency.
All of that tough stuff.
And we have that in this country I think my husband has done a phenomenal job staying on course.
Looking his critics in the -- -- coming up with clear solutions.
Against staying the course that's what leadership bits.
The people have a right to criticize the present in the United States.
Well we do well thank you.
So is the First Lady actually responding to Governor Palin here -- analysis is the president of the word doctor as the one and only Frank Luntz.
Frank -- the -- was so -- criticizing.
I think he just reaching out to everyone has been critical of her husband and there's a word.
That I wanna focus on with Michelle Obama and and that is when she talks about.
That -- that he's done a fantastic job of did danger when you try to articulate a position particularly when you're related to that individual.
It's when you go overboard -- that he's been fantastic that it's been perfect.
The American people still like Barack Obama as a person.
Over 60% of Americans believe that his job perform odd that -- personalities been favorable that they that they like him only 40% Sean.
Agree that this policies.
That he's done a fantastic job the American people don't agree.
Well I they don't agree those numbers are heading to the thirties if you look at the recent poll -- out here but I wanna invite you to very special club.
But as I've been attacked by name repeatedly by the president apparently.
You have caught the president's attention let's roll that tape.
Every time somebody speaks.
In congress the first thing -- they stand up and all the talking points you're actually playing -- appeared -- -- in the front he's he's -- poll that and he said you know the way you're really gonna I've -- -- focus group and you know the where we're gonna really boxer and Obama on this water make closer look bad on that when I don't I like frank got we've had conversations aren't.
Good between -- -- -- but but that's how we operate.
It's all tactics.
It is not solving problems.
Ouch that's an attack but not a -- -- -- special relationship with the president -- -- -- get him to sit down with me is not courageous enough to come on this program.
How do you get all these meetings with the president.
Now we've had conversations -- let's just keep it at that.
But I'm not even do that -- you may have to tell me about the conversations out -- -- -- -- -- he wants to know.
When it when I do polling and focus groups that you see on the air that I provide that to anybody who wants to see it.
Self elected officials in Washington want to know why the -- -- up.
Want to know the reaction to the focus group at Fox News unlike any other news source your stuff is all over for people to take a look at.
And so they've expressed an interest in in what we find out.
I'm about to something that he said it isn't tactics language isn't just about words it really is about meaning.
And what upsets me so much about what's happening in Washington.
-- the demonization.
By the Obama administration.
To those who legitimately as Michelle Obama acknowledges.
Disagree with that administration.
That they take it personally that they become overtly and overly political.
And they try to undercut the business is.
That are the ones that are actually creating jobs in America.
It would create even more jobs they had the regulatory freedom the economic freedom to actually go out and do what they do best.
All right let's go back to be sure of of Sarah Palin she was on enough FOX News Sunday Chris Wallace this weekend and Chris asked her we know why wouldn't you run for president elect take.
Why wouldn't you run for president.
I said I -- -- if I believe that that has the right thing to do for our country and for the Palin family certainly I would do yourself you're basically saying you will consider it.
I think that it would be.
Absurd to not consider what it is that I can potentially do to help our country I hope it's gonna be ever seeking a title -- which may be just.
Doing a darn good job at S a reporter or covering some of the current -- you're gonna consider you're gonna go through the process of thinking I won't close a door that.
Perhaps could be opened firmly in the future is this why Democrats are our soul open and vitriolic and there.
-- against -- that they feel her.
I think they're nervous about -- not necessarily her candidacy but those people who support her.
And there's a reason why Virginia happened New Jersey happened in Massachusetts happen.
We had a huge surge in turnout among self identified conservatives he had a reason to vote in the election they wanted to send a message to Washington.
And they found an electoral vehicle to do I think with Sarah Palin to -- -- books sold so much the reason why she continues to pack -- -- Even though the mainstream media doesn't like -- It's because they see something in her that makes them want to participate the most important trends of 2010 in these first 56 weeks.
Is that those who disagree with what's happening in Washington are much more energized much more likely to vote and every time you study these polling numbers -- It's not the general.
Generic Balladur who you vote for you have to look among those who are energized -- along those who would definitely gonna vote November the Republicans have a significant advantage now.
All right frank good points and actually a poll wouldn't bring up in our panel next 75% of Americans.
Have positive approval rating of of the tea party movement we'll get to that I think it dovetails nicely Italy said frank welcome -- the club.
And tell the president I said -- to come on the show all you can below the -- ambassador to bring us together and I'll I'll buy him a beer and I'll pay for the spirit of spreading the wealth.
Sean I'm a lot of things but it diplomat I'm not what don't we have to say is -- mr.
Hannity extended an invitation and -- -- -- -- -- -- Anyway good to see it right you guys shot I'm not a check -- -- Greta that's such diversity.
