I am not an act of entertainment hour now without further do we have.
Grammy Award winning singer songwriter Brian Adams denied knowing all gun Cynthia thank you -- to be here.
Itself we showed a quick clip of -- -- it's just getting folks kind of the ticket when your shows the I -- And in New -- Tuesday to show us here at the deacon then and now at this present acoustic record which is called bare bones.
And -- -- can turn around.
And I want to talk about their content because it's interesting is the new album but they all -- Well yeah there are some songs and are obviously you know from my past -- they're -- basically.
Like she went -- my Twitter page and ask my Twitter fellow -- to recommends songs to put on the record shows.
-- don't -- actively with them with people with with the fans.
That's fantastic yeah I'm so are you would you do not want to thank you go to your transfer feedback blog I have in this case -- that'd be interesting to see.
After touring this way for a couple years now what people would would like to hear and no luck you wanna hear the old songs that should be -- your new songs and they wanna hear obscure songs.
So consider this sort of a mixture of the of the three.
And doing this sound on my thought was a little inspired by unplugged -- I think you liked the way that your songs sound.
When they're -- this stripped down version like that I did.
You -- it's obviously aside to me which I'm very familiar with because -- -- right.
And so I I thought it's time to sort of present myself in a new way to to the American public and then this is this is the best way I could think of doing it.
Just for myself so you know tells the stories about the songs.
Keep it keep it really simple and -- -- it's all about the music.
Where there any that surprise you that they translated so well.
Just without the whole big production behind that.
They also are translated their own way because they were -- -- -- -- -- so they'll all work you know just -- obviously work better than others.
And that's just the nature of the song itself.
And I'm actually somebody wrote and think -- -- and do some Johnny Cash king nothing zero and I agree -- if -- -- remember.
Some of the songs and it's it's over killed the Ramones songs are like joins but.
I I tried it mix it up and then take requests on the night and.
If if I can remember you know ring of fire I'll do it you know.
There aren't any now let's talk about some of the track the track list for his clients some of the German made it on there on what can people expect -- what -- your -- that made it on.
The -- Well I mean like is that it's it's it's kind of a mixture of a bunch of these I was -- in these songs because and I'm the won them the least familiar with.
-- -- -- -- You've -- a friend to me and and and then this sort of obscure songs like the right place which -- song I -- originally for Ray Charles and then this hits like some 69 -- like a knife everything I do.
There's a few things and this is it.
You got there yet.
Now are there any signs as you mentioned some and I'm sure everybody they go to a show they wanna hear some of the land that they know anyone -- -- along you are there any event you ever get tired of playing -- -- love playing them.
-- it's hard to get tired of spin it in which case and now if if I ever did on the -- it -- turned over to the people possessing it you know.
I mean it's it's it's hard to get tighter than your of your songs you know you -- them you know you never get tired of music.
That's an are there any that are favorites of viewers to revisit Haiti because of where you were when you -- summer you -- them about -- or something like that are there some that.
Better your personal that your -- still.
Well being that I'm in New York right now and hello a lot of them many many of song is that record here you know back in the early eighties and and mid -- so like I have a connection with the city because -- becoming such a long time.
But -- -- going back even further to you know I mean I I've been touring America for thirty years.
A good -- great great report was my audience here and so it's always good to be back and I'm I'm very grateful to the bands for example that I like toured with.
Back in the early days so.
But in terms of actual songs well you know.
Eighteen til I die for a cuts like a -- you know -- Pretty and that why you have to have some favorites of the whole list -- -- like that's coming up next -- -- -- speaking of light on the road.
Wanted to ask you how many days of the year you still out on the road and what -- still love about being.
Well I do about ten shows a month.
So if it were -- to be a hundred -- shows a year.
And then this travel so you know it it all adds up but every dealing that for a long time I love it my loved to -- its its hard stop.
Trying to stop me.
-- I did you need to isn't that much fun it is it is is.
Is it is really that much fun and that's why I'm still doing it.
And now is because this album is kind of a stripped down version I'm wondering what do you like these smaller -- slows nurses the big arena shows yeah I mean I'm -- -- way I have never seen.
Before there's a lot of beautiful theaters in this country.
You know from the vaudeville time to to present day.
And they're amazing because it got in the bottom of beautiful piano is in them and have done the interiors really well and it's it's a great -- place to come and see someone saying.
So for me I've never done that that circuit before so.
You know I've seen it done everything else but sort of on -- American -- whole other way now.
You know pretty it is really fascinating and -- and where can people go to find more information as to where you're heading out because they know that you're gonna leave for a little while -- coming back in March for some more US -- semitism here -- I'm just I've been touring up in the northeast here I'm coming back in March.

Your resume and the awards -- does an Emmy nominations and -- stands out anything -- in a special place -- that trophy case.
-- -- you're recently honored for your charitable work is well I would think.
Well I don't really think about the awards you know I mean I sort of my Nguyen working this -- a day by day and what's what's past is past you know an obviously I'm very grateful to everything that's happened in and out until all the accolades in the awards -- -- nominations but.
You know for me it's about the music and and the continuation.
And what's next you know it's always about what's next to him but -- we -- -- with my -- amount foundation.
It's about what's next for the foundation to you know and how we -- -- which is basically my Spanish is about helping educate kids.
And so what we do we -- and and it's always about again what's.
When you're correct spelling test clarity that sometimes do you realize that there's such a spotlight on me I just turn -- -- here I can actually make a difference now.
You mean with like organizing a foundation you have to sell well on the and going back to the security eighties and -- -- things like live aid and.
And then from then on it was -- Amnesty International conspiracy of hope tour and you know Nelson Mandela Freeman -- Mandela.
