You have a new album about the Celebrity Apprentice.
And got the possibility of America I know where -- -- -- -- -- pick one the album.
Tell me about this new -- I love the new album simply called custom built and and absolutely put all my time and energy into it as I do with all the music -- records are made throughout my career.
And what's exciting for me about it is is I recorded a lot of this music on the road over the last year and home we got it most of it done right before got sick there's a few more songs I'd like to put on it but that can happen.
But you know what's great on this record is a lot of this the music -- and everything that I put into this really reflects from that my life right now and it's especially.
I'll never made a sublime song called what I god and I love doing that of course -- -- every rose has a storm -- -- he version of it.
With Brad Arnold from three doors down and -- Marcus Rascal Flatts and I'm excited about the new record.
You know -- where you are in your life but -- it's sort of confusing me it got these enormously exciting things going that would be album and and the even the book and it.
Even at these health problems that have been deeply disturbing as -- also watch on the sidelines in -- of stunned us in the horrified as with.
-- what's going not -- you back what's your house situation.
Well here it is you know the bottom line is is this on on the fighter and on the unfortunate.
And I say this -- god I'm fortunate to be here.
And you know when I had the appendectomy.
You know I thought that's it and I thought -- I'll get through that no big deal on the -- had to bring him urgency sultan that I absolutely did not expect to happen.
And and I felt that if I could have been out of the hospital after -- got first you know through the first five or six days and and sort of walk again and get up and talk and all that.
If -- -- -- got out of hospital that I would have laughed but they kept me in -- for home just over two weeks and we started rehab.
And and from that -- tell you where.
-- even got a little bit more depressing.
For me is is and I like to keep my spirit up is when I found out had a hole in my heart and home and had this in court -- felt patent Foreman -- -- And that has to be operated on January and after that I feel like come -- be 100% again and I just keep a positive spirit and I'm really thankful for all the well wishes and and prayers and and just good -- people's way.
-- -- -- -- -- -- Health scares.
Certainly reset your priorities at least the short run don't -- They absolutely reset my life here's what it is with priorities too and I've always felt that -- always been really.
Really really good with people I try to be very.
Very conscious of everything that's going on around me in the fact that ended a type one or juvenile diabetic.
Have been taken four shots of days it's been four years old I think the fact that I was pretty weird that when had to hammer something really gone wrong with my body.
The only thing I think that saved my life was a factor Christie got me to hospital right away in fact -- reacted to it so quickly.
I'm -- kept it reduce the bleed.
And and I think for a lot of people they no one wants to go to emergency room if you don't have to but I knew that something was wrong but it really put perspective all my life and and and my kids and my family and being able to really insure -- and enjoy every moment.
Well I can tell you that to arrows actually stunned I was pulling for you and -- it has turned out last let's go to the guys step up slightly different is -- -- -- -- trump liked.

But the same time on the show me sucking a lot of face a lot of drunken debauchery.
And I want to show that I've been in this business 23 years you don't get lucky that long so I got to show that -- work hard and especially.
Fighting for a great cause like American Diabetes Association.
And diabetes itself.
Trump was amazing I caught in the rock star real estate.
But really I knew that -- I knew it would Donald Trump you like music and and stuff like that I think he saw in me that I come from a blue -- family hardworking family.
And I and I really put my time and I was up against some great competition.
And and holly was un believable but I felt that I brought it and and the creativity and hard work.
And and I felt I really brought it to the show.

I'm not quite as brutally honest brutally as honest as Simon is -- Simon's original.
And he brought brutal honesty I think I can given the -- good honest answer both on the passion music and also the most important -- in me navigating.
The business of of being and -- a long career.
We imagine Fathi Ben that even doing this at 23 years.
It does take a lot of hard working on -- -- -- have that kind of success.
Without pounding every single day work and it really does take work does not.
It takes hard work every single day and that's what people forget you know I I kind of laugh now.
When bands -- -- -- -- I got a record deal we made and I said no you just made it with your foot in the door now.
If you want to do this for your career it takes a lot of hard work and there's never day goes by.
We're not out there trying to -- while playing music make it work it's it's all the scenes of the -- and behind it behind that stage is how you get to that stage -- great you know great football teams have to practice you know got to -- rehearse and get it right.
And it's the same thing with whether it's me solo or with poison we put a lot of timing to make sure our show was great -- and the travel to you one thing you -- of nerves of steel.
With with being -- and -- of an out of a suitcase shoot you better really liked the life you're about to lead.

And and I thought this was early on in my -- and I thought maybe I was the only nut ball.
That one to be out there with the crew same man shall we -- the -- this way make this work make this look better.
And I was saddened her watching Mick Jagger call out light cues and make things look great.
