Yes I am I I supports a woman's right to choose up until viability of the fetus.

I would I did sign a bill banning late term abortion as governor of New Mexico.

I've always supported parental notification.

I've always supported counseling I've always supported the notion of not using public funds for abortion.

And as this moves forward it's been predicted that -- President Obama in his reelection bid could raise a billion dollars.

It's going to be -- very expensive.

Rate.

So it's going to be very expensive and I think people right now in this country are more in tune the politics and they've ever been before in my lifetime.

I think we're on the verge of a financial collapse.

I think when it comes to jobs we ought to.

Eliminate the corporate income tax that that would do more toward creating jobs than any other single action that we could sing singularly do.

I think that if we don't balance the federal budget we're gonna find ourselves with nothing we are going to find ourselves with -- currency that collapses.

How close are we to that in your estimation it could be tomorrow it will be a bond market collapse that will be the bond market saying look we don't have an appetite for fourteen trillion dollars in debt.

When the ongoing deficit is one point 65 trillion this year.

Last year the year before year's going forward that's it in a nutshell there's no ability for us to repay fourteen trillion dollars.

Given the current deficit situation.

If you could pick anybody in the Republican Party your former.

Republican.

Candidate or elected official who would be the one person that you feel if they endorsed you.

You would really move.

Forward.

I don't I don't see that endorsement really I think that both parties share in the responsibility for where we're at right now.

And that you and I ultimately share in the responsibility for where this country's -- right now but we'll let it.

I did a woman -- -- could be.

Governor said I don't Gary Johnson has a plan that works for America are you reaching out to people to try to get -- to understand what your needs are other than talking directly to vote I think.

It by asking for or seeking any sort of endorsement in this was also something that I did not do as governor of New Mexico I didn't seek any endorsements.

Because I think endorsements are indicative of the status quo.

And the status quo has us in the in the situation that we're in right now we need something drastically different.

And if we want to if we want to just close Verizon.

Put our heads in the sand.

Let's just keep electing this problem one senator one congressperson.

One president at a time.

I remember Herman -- another candidate said.

That he didn't do.

People say he's not a Washington insider he doesn't know how Washington works but the last thing he wanted to learn was how Washington is working.

As a businessman he also would he says come to it.

-- different perspective because a lot of people have said that our country needs to be run like a business.

What would be the first changes that you would make that you feel would turn our economy around.

Well has governor of New Mexico that was my pledge I was gonna run state government like a business best product -- service lowest price my promise was was to address every single issue that was out there.

A through Z that there would not be any sacred cows.

I did that I got to -- eight years as governor of New Mexico.

Doing just that I got reelected in a state that was 21 Democrat by promising and delivering on that.

I had -- Mr.

Smith Goes to Washington experience as governor of New Mexico.

I've come to recognize that there are a lot of mister Smith -- go to Washington but you know what Jamie -- one of and by what percentage did you win that reelection -- one democratic state.

Well the first the first election I -- one against an incumbent by about ten points and during the second election which was I would argue their strongest candidate.

-- won by a bigger margin getting reelected.

And if this doesn't work for you.

Not the debate situation but at an actual run for the presidency -- it seems to me you're in it to win it as well for the long haul.

What else would you like to do to help this nation.

Well I think that being part of this process.

Brings.

A perspective to this debate that needs to be brought I think I'm representative of the majority of Americans.

When I ran for governor of New Mexico it appeared to me as though that if I were to have one that if I -- Would win the primary I would actually go on and win the general election.

I'm gonna make that same outrageous claim here.

Well speaking of claims it's interesting because you put your opinion to paper.

At foxnews.com.

If you check out our opinion page.

Gary has written governor Johnson has written a piece that you you should read.

And hear his -- About what he would like to see happen not only next week but for our future.

It's really nice if I know you're -- with us on Sunday and I listened to everything you set off -- always a different things.

Many governors have become president.

Do you think if it was a state other than New Mexico.

That would make a difference not -- -- -- I love New Mexico but I'm just saying well is people are starting to just learn about.

-- isn't that an outrageous notion that.

This is this state that I grew up in this is state that I became governor it's the state I want to live in.

But this this is all I have as the rest of -- -- what I happen.

I was a two term I didn't crawl out from under -- rock to do business.

But I think you -- which one of the challenges has been that you've had to be.

More out there to explain your record to explain.

You -- Iraq which is part of this crisis which which should entail.

Having been a two term governor of New Mexico.

Arguably very very successful in that endeavor that I should have a place at the table.

There you have without a -- read the piece of foxnews.com.

Governor Johnson it really is a pleasure -- the university -- of luck to you thanks so much for coming in and thank.
